1. Villa Carissa is offered for short-term holiday rentals.
2. Bookings are guaranteed on the payment of a deposit. In the event of cancellation, the booking deposit is non-refundable.
3. The full amount is payable in full one month prior to arrival date.
4. In the event of cancellation after the payment in full, the amount is non-refundable.
5. The deposit is returnable within 2 weeks of departure, subject to the following provisions: The Swimming Pool has been maintained in line with the Pool maintenance instructions provided, and is clean and fit for use for the incoming guests. If the Swimming Pool is not clean, has algae pollution or similar, an amount up to the full value of the deposit may be deducted. The Villa has been maintained both interior and exterior to a high standard, and is on departure in a similar state to that on arrival. Specifically, all floors must be vacuumed and washed, toilets, bathrooms and kitchen work surfaces cleaned, rubbish removed, food from cupboards and fridge/freezer disposed of. A charge of £200 will be made for cleaning beyond normal amounts expected. In the event of damage to crockery, glasses etc. these should be replaced to avoid charges to the deposit. If not replaced, breakage must be notified. In the event of damage to furniture or the Villa fabric interior and exterior, then the deposit will be charged at appropriate amounts.
6. Safety. Guests are responsible for their own safety during their stay. The Villa has been provided with necessary safety instructions, smoke alarms, and the Swimming Pool is fenced to French regulations. Guests are responsible for limiting access to the Pool by children with the use of the Gate lock. When absent from the Villa, the Villa must have all Doors, Windows and Shutters secured, and the gates padlocked.
